This workshop is perfect for mothers with infants, babies or toddlers (0-2 years old) seeking a smart way to recover their deep core strength and reclaim their yoga practice after pregnancy and childbirth.

Come sneak away to the yoga studio after your little ones are sleeping and learn about your postpartum body and how to stay safe, smart and strong on the mat and beyond! Take the time to get to know your ever-changing, incredible body and how you can best adapt your yoga practice to receive maximum benefit. Postnatal yoga is a wonderful way for moms to mindfully rebuild abdomininal and pelvic floor strength, tone and strengthen muscles, relieve sore achy hip and back joints, open the chest and shoulders, step into strength and self-power, create space when feeling stretched thin from all the responsibilities of modern motherhood, and cultivate community!

With busy mom's needs in mind, our time together is practical, concise and results-oriented. Strong, post-partum safe yoga practice will progress and up-level each week as your strength builds. Mom will have a 15 minute daily yoga plan emailed to her each week so she can continue to strengthen and get results through a committed but do-able home practice.

This will be a child-free environment.

Though she has had a committed practice since 2000, Lily Dwyer Begg’s most profound, direct, earthy, transcendent, and soul-altering experience of yoga in her lifetime was giving birth to her son Blaise in 2013. Lily has taught yoga since 2005 in Berkeley, CA; Berlin, Germany; and Baltimore, Maryland. Her work has brought her to work with hundreds of pregnant and postpartum mothers, in yoga studios internationally, with an NBA basketball team, an NCAA diving team, and to homeless women and children. Lily studied with Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest, Don and Amba Stapleton, David Moreno, yoga for scoliosis with Elise Browning Miller, Ayurveda with Kameko Shibata, Prenatal yoga with Marisa Toriggino, and Yoga for the Female Pelvic Floor with Leslie Howard.
